InstantBallpark provides software that helps local service businesses offer ballpark estimate experiences and collect project leads. This policy explains how information is handled when a business uses InstantBallpark or when someone uses an estimator powered by InstantBallpark.

When a business creates or uses an InstantBallpark account, we may collect account and business information such as a name, email address, business name, phone number, website, authentication information, and subscription or account-status information.

Subscription payments are processed by Stripe. InstantBallpark does not store full payment card numbers.

When a person uses an estimator for a service business, the estimator may collect their name, email address, phone number, ZIP or postal code, project answers, estimate inputs, the ballpark estimate result, and the date and time of submission.

An estimator may also collect uploaded project photos and basic source or referrer information when it is available. The questions and information requested are configured by the service business operating that estimator.

We use information to operate InstantBallpark, provide ballpark estimate experiences, deliver leads to the relevant service business, notify businesses about new leads, provide account support, process subscriptions, maintain security, and improve the reliability of the service.

People may submit information through an estimator operated for a local service business. That information is provided to the relevant business so it can follow up about the project. InstantBallpark provides the software used to collect and present the information; the business is responsible for its own customer communications and services.

We use carefully selected providers to help operate the service, including Cloudflare for application hosting, database, and storage infrastructure; Stripe for subscription payment processing; Resend for transactional email; and the application's authentication infrastructure. These providers process information only as needed to provide their services to us.

Estimator users may upload project photos. Photos are stored privately and made available to the service business receiving the lead. They are not published for public viewing.

InstantBallpark uses authentication and session cookies and necessary browser storage to operate the application. Browser storage may also remember that a visitor closed an estimator popup so the popup is not repeatedly shown. We do not use advertising cookies in the application.

We retain account and lead information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, maintain business records, comply with legal obligations, and resolve disputes.

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures intended to protect information. No method of transmission or storage can be guaranteed completely secure.

InstantBallpark is intended for businesses and adults seeking service estimates. It is not directed to children.
